REINTJES – about the company
The REINTJES GmbH has been manufacturing maritime drive systems and industrial gearboxes for steam and gas turbines as well as compressors for the global market at its headquarters in Hamelin since 1955. Today, the long-established company has over 500 employees worldwide, ten subsidiaries and numerous sales and service partners.
The project
REINTJES was looking for an intuitive software solution that would store order confirmations in the SAP system as promptly and automatically as possible. Above all, REINTJES hoped that this would reduce the workload of its purchasing staff. REINTJES was very satisfied with the flowDOCS project approach and progress.
OUTPUT SITUATION
In the past, many order confirmations at REINTJES were transferred manually to the SAP system. However, in order to reduce this manual effort and relieve employees, this relatively simple task was to be solved in future with the help of a software solution. This should also eliminate the need to file order confirmations manually.
Project goals
REINTJES was therefore looking for a simple and intuitive software solution that would recognize all error-free order confirmations and transfer them to the SAP system. Any deviations were to be displayed by the software. The overall aim was to significantly reduce the workload for the purchasing staff.
Project description
As flowDOCS was recommended to REINTJES GmbH, REINTJES decided to introduce the confirmationLINE. In addition to free-form recognition, the new recognition technology of position recognition was also developed for the exact identification of position data. The so-called mailHANDLERpdf was implemented for PDF order confirmations received by e-mail.
Further planning
Further adaptations and optimizations of the individual recognition will now follow the implementation project in order to be able to automatically and efficiently record new order confirmations in the future. Through software updates, REINTJES benefits from new features and continuous product improvements.
