Zott – about the company
The Zott dairy from Mertingen stands for “enjoyment and quality from a single source”. Now in its third generation, the traditional family business from Bavaria produces a wide variety of food products at several locations. These products include yoghurt, dessert and cheese specialties. Zott’s food products are characterized by innovation and high quality and are sold in more than 75 countries worldwide. For the company, a good partnership with the dairies and the sustainable production of food is extremely important.
The project
For a holistic process from invoice receipt to processing and archiving in one system, Zott SE & Co. KG decided to introduce invoiceLINE for all its locations worldwide.
OUTPUT SITUATION
The Zott Se & Co. KG uses SAP ECC 6.0 as the ERP system in the group of companies. For this reason, integration into SAP was a key factor when selecting a suitable automation solution for processing supplier invoices.
Project start
The project began with the installation of the standard version of the invoiceLINE. This made it possible for the company to directly see the “best practices” functionalities in the SAP environment. In combination with the implementation guide, process steps were discussed and adjustments were defined.
Successful go-live
This involved, for example, release limits and other company-specific regulations that are important for the workflow. These were implemented by the flowDOCS consultants in the customizing of the invoiceLINE. The test phase was then initiated. The flowDOCS team then accompanied the successful go-live at Zott.
Further planning
The international roll-out of the invoiceLINE is now planned at Zott. The syntaxANALYZER method will be used for free-form recognition so that new countries can be connected quickly and cost-effectively. In addition, business processes will be harmonized.
